There are over 1,700 college baseball programs in the United States. 85% of college baseball programs have very small recruiting budgets.
Less than 1% of high school athletes receive a full scholarship. The average college student graduates with $23,000 in loans.
The recruiting process should start freshman year. Promote yourself.
You give 100% on the field when you practice and play. You have to be equally as willing to give 100% to market yourself.
If you don’t know how to handle recruiting, a dedicated work ethic doesn’t guarantee you will play at the next level. Colleges must know who you are.
Recruiting is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Don’t let Signing Day come and go without having contacted as many qualified schools as possible.
There are many qualified student-athletes competing for the same roster position and financial aid as you. Be prepared.
